We specialize in the manufacturing of high-quality pre-nailed timber wall frames and roof trusses for residential and commercial construction projects. We are committed to delivering precision, efficiency, and excellence in every project we undertake.We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Frame and Truss Detailer/Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed construction drawings for timber frames and trusses, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications.Key Responsibilities:Create detailed frame and truss designs using specialized software (e.g. Mitek, Pryda)Prepare documentation, layouts, and material specifications for manufacturingInterpret architectural and structural plans to create accurate and efficient designsWork closely with builders and clients to meet project requirementsIdentify and analyse design challenges and implement effective solutionsRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in frame and truss detailingNational Certificate in Frame and Truss Detailing Level 4 or 5, preferableProficiency in Pryda/Mitek softwareSolid understanding of construction principles, particularly in timber frame construction.Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with local building codesExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a teamWhat we offer:Competitive remunerationPrivate Health InsuranceOpportunities for professional development and career growthExceptional team cultureWork-life balanceRelocation subsidy available for successful candidate or the flexibility to work remotelyThis is a permanent position – working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
