Tauhara North No.2 Trust was founded on its whakapapa, whenua, and whanau connections. As kaitiaki for the whenua we have developed the geothermal resources with the whakatauki to hold fast to the land and make use of the land for the wellbeing of Nga uri whakatipuranga. Since 1991 when the Trust was formed their investment diversification has grown to include farming, horticulture, geothermal energy and tourism.
Position Overview: We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic Food Attendants/Waitresses to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable and reflective of the high standards of Te Pa Tu. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
Assist in setting up and clearing tables, maintaining a clean and tidy dining area.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
Be knowledgeable about the menu, including dietary options, and provide information to guests as needed.
Handle guest inquiries and special requests with care and professionalism.
Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all aspects of service.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
