Fleet Manager

Working in a supportive team environment, your main duties will be:·         To arrange the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles including equipment and fuel.·         Responsible for recruiting and maintaining a full fleet of drivers·         Maintain log book for drivers, vehicle maintenance, vehicle registrations and servicing etc·         Manage day-to-day operations·         Training drivers towards service excellence·         Provide the client with the relevant information regarding the vehicle type, purchase, hire rates, obligations, and handling complaints as per the requirements of the client.·         To carefully receive the orders and bookings so that the transportation schedules could be implemented in a planned manner.·         To ensure the storage and transportation is carried in such a way that the goods maintain their quality once delivered.·         Must be able to manage the deliveries and collection of vehicles ·         Keep records and manage accident-related inquiries·         Maintain records of parking fines, and tickets and overall manage the documentation work ·         Manage invoices, bank transactions and other financial duties·         To be able to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.·         Preparing and reporting the operational statements including maintenance of business records.·         Must have 1 year of relevant work experience.The successful applicant must be a team player, dedicated, hardworking along with excellent customer service skills.Training will be provided to the right candidate.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid work visa.
