Our Engineering team is in an exciting phase as we look to grow the capability of our team that will enable us to continue to improve the service we provide while improving reliability at the site.

We are looking for motivated and mechanically minded Fitters Mate to join our engineering team who are crucial to keep our production running in a challenging, dynamic food production environment.

Hours/Roster: Our site operates both day and evening shifts Monday to Friday as well as occasional overtime on weekends.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience within the manufacturing/production engineering space

Comfortable with general welding and managing maintenance of onsite chillers

Ideally have a related educational background in engineering or trades

Experience using basic tools and have a mechanical aptitude

Knowledge and implementation of Workplace Health and Safety practices

Be self-motivated and capable of working both independently and within a tight-knit team of engineering specialists

Comfortable being on a roster-based shift pattern in a meat processing environment out of our largest site in the South Island
