On behalf of our well-respected Woolston based client, we are seeking an experienced fitter/fabricator for an immediate start for a long-term temporary assignment that will become permanent work for the right person. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in tig/mig welding and ideally, arc welding. Along with this, you will have the following skills and attributes:
Good knowledge ability with a wide range of toolsUse of precision measuring tools to inspect grooves and anglesInterpretation of drawings and plans; carrying out the work accordinglyProducing templates and other work aidsUse your industry experience to promote a good work ethic and become a role-model within the companyAssisting other team members with advice and technical knowledge when developing products or designsEnsuring that products and goods are manufactured to meet quality standards obtainable in the industryHealth & Safety: Taking personal responsibility for own safety and that of the wider production team.Adhering at all times to the standards in the health and safety policy and SOPs.Consistently and actively promoting health and safety within the production area at all times, for staff and visitors.Completing any H+S reporting as required.You will also be:
