Fire and Security Engineers
We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a key employer in Cornwall, part of a UK National M&E Contractor. This specialist office of the business is looking at recruiting up to four more engineers to cope with the increased workload.
Duties Installation and testing to the relevant codes of practice.
Excellent communication through all levels of the contract chain.
Able to manage installation from start-up through to completion.
Diagnose faults using a pragmatic approach.
Provide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring that installations meet design specifications.
Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
Solid mechanical knowledge related to building systems and construction practices.
Experience with system design, particularly in relation to fire and security applications.
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in installation processes.
Understanding of electrical systems as they pertain to fire safety equipment.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £36,000.00-£38,000.00 per year depending on experience, based on a 40-hour working week.
You will receive a Company Van (for business use only), Phone, Laptop, and Tablet. All kit is provided; you just need to provide your own hand tools.
