We are looking for an accomplished Financial Reporting Manager to join us on a 15-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will be part of the Group Finance division, working with the External Reporting team. You will facilitate financial reporting for the Air NZ Group, primarily accountable for preparation of statutory reporting and balance sheet control and acting as a key liaison with the external auditors.
Key deliverables include:
Preparation of the Group's financial statements in accordance with IFRS Accounting Standards.
Preparation of stock exchange releases relating to financial reporting.
Ensuring Group accounting policies are adhered to by all Group reporting entities.
Ensuring appropriate controls and processes are in place to ensure balance sheet integrity.
Prepare Audit & Risk Committee and Board memorandums.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the external auditors.
Preparation of Crown reporting packs including actual and forecast information.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Finance.
Hold a recognised CA membership e.g. CAANZ.
Possess at least 7 years experience working in a large CA firm, coupled with several years experience in a corporate role.
Your commercial awareness, stakeholder management, and communication skills are what sets you apart from the rest.
