The successful candidate will manage and carry out all functions of financial administration, specializing in cost management accounting, and with previous manufacturing industry experience. Budget and forecasting is critical to their role, as is a strong focus on GP statistics, analytics of sales and market trends, and providing accurate and timely reporting to the Management Team and the Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost analysis for production and delivery to determine cost of goods.
Developing and monitoring budgets across the business.
Implementing cost control measures and driving efficiency while assessing and managing inventory valuations and reports.
Variance analysis of actual vs budgeting costs and providing insights for corrective actions.
Financial reporting including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements.
Oversee and manage AP and AR processes.
Financial analysis to identify trends, variance, cost saving and efficiency opportunities.
Developing financial forecasts to guide planning and decision making.
Maintain and update financial and cost accounting systems with current data.
What You'll Need:
Tertiary Qualification in Accounting.
Previous experience and knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
Previous experience in cost management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and financial accounting up to trial balance level.
Knowledge of GP Statistics and back costs.
Ideally previous experience with Infusion accounting software or similar.
