We are now seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to support the owner and lead and mentor a team.
About the Role Reporting directly to the owner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of these stores.
You will be responsible for managing the accounting function including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance across the group.
This hands-on role requires strong technical accounting skills and the ability to lead and mentor a small transactional team.
What you will be doing: Producing year-end financial information and managing budgeting and forecasting process.
Preparation of monthly financial reports for management and board.
Overseeing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
Managing and mentoring a small transactional team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Embracing new technology and processes, streamlining operations, and mentoring the team through these changes.
About you Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA or CPA qualified.
Proven experience in a hands-on Finance Manager role – at least 5 years.
Strong technical accounting skills.
Proven experience explaining financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
Experience managing a small team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinker with an eye for both the details and "the big picture".
Ability to build strong relationships with a range of different stakeholders.
