Firth operates in every region across New Zealand and employs over 750 team members, across 80 sites.The roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join our head office team based in Penrose.Reporting to the Commercial Manager your key responsibilities includeManaging the month end process, ensuring accurate month end adjustments, reporting and reconciliationsManaging finance and transactional teamsManaging overhead and capital budgets and expenditureCash flow managementEnsuring accurate and timely income tax, FBT & GST returnsAdhering to and enforcing good internal controlsFulfilling internal audit requests and implementation audit recommendationsLiaising with external auditors and providing responses to external audit queries.Improvement of systemsAbout youYou will have strong experience in a financial accounting leadership role, supported by a degree in either Commerce or Accounting and have a CA ANZ recognised Chartered Accountant qualification with a solid understanding of NZ IFRS.Known for your ability to influence and communicate, you will be a highly motivated self-starter, have a strong commercial and financial background and a proven track record in delivering results.
