We're on the hunt for a solution-focused Field Service technician with a strong background in hydraulics and mechanical engineering to provide top-quality product support and training to our customers. Based in Tauranga, you'll be responsible for the installation of all Doherty attachments when required, diagnosing and troubleshooting product problems, identifying solutions, and working with the customer to resolve reported issues. As well as attending sites for all product-related issues and allocating resources to resolve these, you'll regularly liaise with internal and external key contacts to ensure we continually provide top-quality product support.
Key Requirements: Good knowledge of modern excavator systems and in particular excavator hydraulicsExcellent understanding of hydraulics and ability to read and develop schematicsAn Engineering/Trade Qualification and/or CAD experience would be advantageousAbility to read working drawingsFull Drivers LicenceKnowledge and experience working on civil sitesAbility to work autonomouslyWillingness and ability to travel nationallyExcellent computer skills in particular Excel and WordGreat verbal communication skills with the ability to relate well with othersWhy Should You Apply?
