My client, a well-respected and successful agricultural machinery supplier, is looking to add an experienced fully qualified heavy diesel mechanic to its well-established team. About the role: Completing repairs and maintenance to all agricultural machinery on-site and off-site when required.
Ensure that parts, equipment and accessories needed to complete jobs are ordered.
Complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsible for managing all necessary record-keeping, documentation, billing, and reporting requirements.
Communicate with both internal and external parties and provide them with a high level of customer service.
Provide effective support to other team members.
Be aware of, understand, and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
About you: You will be a fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic OR hold an equivalent qualification OR be working towards completing your HD mechanic qualification.
You have proven experience working on agricultural equipment such as tractors, farm machinery, forage harvesters, etc.
You pride yourself on your high quality of workmanship and exceptional customer service skills.
You are committed and reliable, with exceptional attention to detail.
You have excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
You take pride in your presentation and work in a tidy and efficient manner.
You're a team player who can cooperate and work well with others and also can work well independently.
You hold a full NZ Drivers license.
Benefits: The standard working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Any OT is paid at time and a half. There is an attractive hourly wage on offer based on experience, plus an on-call allowance, a tool allowance, phone and laptop, plus a Company Ute. All PPE including boots and a full work uniform is provided.
If you are living in other parts of New Zealand or in Australia, the company will assist with relocation costs per agreement.
