Field Operations Manager (Market Research), Institute of Policy Studies Field Operations Manager (Market Research), Institute of Policy Studies National University Of Singapore, Central Region Market Research & Analysis (Marketing & Communications) The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) was established in 1988 as an independent think-tank to study and generate public policy ideas in Singapore. IPS became an autonomous research centre of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore in 2008. The Institute examines issues of critical national interest across a variety of fields, and studies the attitudes and aspirations of Singaporeans through surveys of public perception. You will oversee the data collection operations of research projects assigned which includes managing a team of field supervisors/interviewers. You will excel in this role if you are intrinsically-motivated, well-organised and work well in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities • Managing projects and stakeholders (including various ministries in Singapore) • Recruiting, training and supervising field interviewers • Coordinating interviewers' workload and managing performance • Preparing training materials and conducting training sessions • Ensuring high-quality data • Reporting progress to clients • Staying within budget and timelines • Safeguarding the organization's reputation • Taking disciplinary and remedial actions when necessary • Developing and maintaining workflow systems Qualifications • Minimum Degree holder, preferably with experience in market research operations. • Prior experience in managing, running or handling of projects is an advantage. • Prior experience in training of full-time, part-time and free-lance staff. • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to keep to tight deadlines • Excellent leadership qualities and ability to motivate teams • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with attention to detail Company information Registration No. 200604346E Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Singapore?
