FAST FOOD COOKS – MASTERTON PIZZA HUT Pizza World Ltd trading as Pizza Hut Masterton is seeking 2 dedicated and experienced individuals for the roles of Fast Food Cook.

You will be responsible for the following duties: Prepare and serve food and beverage following prescribed Pizza Hut standards including pizza and chips.
Follow established safety practices, address minor safety issues within your authority, and promptly report all incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions to management.
Prioritize safety for yourself and others, including team members, management, customers, visitors, and contractors.
Maintain cleanliness in the designated work area, restaurant, equipment, and restrooms.
Safely and correctly operate equipment according to company procedures.
Greet customers courteously, take orders efficiently, and stay informed about new products and promotions to serve with urgency.
Follow all cash handling procedures, operating the register securely and accurately.
Take delivery of ingredients and keep items stocked as needed.
Manage inventory of ingredients and rotate stock according to date.
Handle customer complaints immediately in line with company guidelines and escalate serious issues to the Manager on duty.
Demonstrate teamwork by assisting others proactively and providing coaching and support to fellow team members.
Comply with all Pizza Hut policies and procedures.
Work Hours and Wage rates Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week up to 45 hours a week on a rostered basis.
Wage rate is between $25 to $30 per hour.
Person requirements: Must have 6 months of relevant fast food cooking work experience, preferably in pizza making.
Must be available to work on weekends and late evening shifts.
Must have a full drivers licence.
Able to work positively as a member of the Masterton Pizza Hut team.
Good with managing time.
Physically fit and able to stand for long durations.
Must adhere to the uniform policy and personal hygiene standards.
Have a great attention to detail.
