This full-time position is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our farm and ensuring the welfare of our flock. You will play a vital role in contributing to the success of our business.What you'll be doingPrimarily responsible for maintenance and repair of poultry farm equipmentAssisting with the daily care and handling of our laying hens, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and well-beingCollecting, grading, and packing eggs for distributionMaintaining the cleanliness and biosecurity of the farm facilities, including barns, equipment, and work areasUndertaking general farm duties such as maintenance and equipment upkeepCollaborating with the farm management teamWhat we're looking forHigh level of physical fitness and stamina is essential to perform manual labour tasksExcellent attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols and proceduresA team-oriented approach and the willingness to contribute to the overall success of the farmFamiliarity with farm equipment operation and maintenanceA commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and biosecurityReliability - strong work ethic and punctualityHours:Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm (flexible finish times).
