The Opportunity Fulton Hogan Engineering team based in Central Otago is looking for a motivated Fabricator/ Fitter/ Welder/ Engineer. The hourly rate for this role will be between $30.00 and $36.00 per hour. The requirement for this role varies between a minimum of 40 hours per week and a maximum of 50 hours per week . This role will be based in the Parkburn Quarry, Cromwell. The Fabricator/ Engineer will report to the Workshop Supervisor and will be responsible for effective, safe and efficient engineering and repair of specialised company plant, plant components, trucks, trailers and other engineering projects. Delivering on time or communicating expectations is vital to ensure our customers are satisfied with our service. You will be responsible for: Reading plans and following working drawings to complete fabrication projects Diagnosing and repairing plant breakdowns The fabrication of new truck and plant builds Repairs and maintenance to existing plant and machinery Working as part of a team on large site engineering projects What you'll bring to the table The candidate will be able to work well with others and have a strong focus on health and safety. You will enjoy getting stuck in with your team and take pride in the products you are producing. You will also have: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fabricator/ Fitter/ Welder/ Engineer Sound heavy fabrication skills and pipework experience are beneficial but not essential Class 1, 2, 4 Drivers License would be beneficial Fork hoist and Dangerous Goods endorsements advantageous A passion for Safety in the workplace Can work autonomously but also be a great team player Ideally you will have operations experience with elevating work platforms Sound like you?
