Te Haeata / The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an Executive Support role for the Courts and Justice Services Policy Unit (working with multiple managers and teams).
Our Executive Support team plays a crucial role in supporting the management team and the wider Policy Group. Your key responsibilities in this role will be, but not limited to:

Diary and calendar management including scheduling internal and external meetings
Multiple inbox management
Coordination of documentation for meetings
Travel and accommodation management
Booking venues and organizing team events
Supporting recruitment processes
Managing correspondence including that of a confidential nature
Appropriate discretion with sensitive and confidential information
Supporting the wider Executive Support team with general administration
Coordination of reporting
Providing secretariat support to internal committees and forums, as needed
Contributing to wider process improvements

O pukenga / Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role you will have:

High degree of computer literacy, including advanced knowledge of MS-suite of products, in particular Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, or demonstrated ability to quickly pick up this knowledge.
Previous experience with TEAMS and SharePoint a distinct advantage.
Proven organisational skills and demonstrated experience of being able to consistently reprioritise or triage tasks depending on the team/unit/groups need, priorities and deadlines.
Ability to build trusted internal relationships, and maintain an appropriate network of contacts which will assist in the effective day-to-day operation of the Policy Group.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, judgement, initiative and deal with difficult situations.
Experience working in either an Executive Assistant/Support role or extensive Personal Assistant experience and ready to take the next step in your career.

We are looking for applicants who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, use their initiative and think ahead. The ideal applicant will have excellent prioritisation capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
You will be a great problem solver, adaptable and will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.

This role will be based in the National Office.
Utu a-tau / Salary
The starting salary for the Executive Support role will be between $58,729 and $75,043, depending on skills and experience.
