We are seeking applicants for the role of Events and Tours Administrator. This role supports the delivery of national and international events, focusing on administrative, logistical, and financial tasks. This role provides essential support to the Events Manager, and Performance and Tours Manager ensuring smooth operations and alignment with organisational goals. The successful candidate will need to be Auckland based. This role is positioned at approximately 25 hours / week.
The core activity of the Events and Tours Administrator role will include:
Event Administration
National Championships Support / Delivery
International Events Administration
Compliance Administration
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Strong administrative and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in event management, logistics, and financial administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in information management systems and processes.
Proficiency in intermediate Excel and Xero.
This role provides an exciting sport management opportunity to help develop our performance pathways and will require a candidate who is self-motivated, able to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, and who is passionate about sport.
Periodic travel is required including attending national events.
