Event Cleaner

AUCKLAND EVENT CLEANER POSITIONS AVAILABLE Our champion team is the best in the industry. We go from event to event ensuring the venue is clean and as much rubbish as possible is diverted from landfill.
We are hiring for events throughout Auckland. We have a lot of work coming up at Spark Arena located in Auckland city center. Cleaning and/or events experience preferred but not necessary.
We supply environmentally friendly waste management services to events in the Auckland Region. This includes concert and sporting venues.
The position will mainly involve:
- Picking up litter/rubbish at events
- Emptying and servicing bins (some lifting involved)
- General cleaning duties: Vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms etc.
- Sorting waste and recycling
- Cleaning bins and equipment
We may have some leadership opportunities for you if you are interested in leading small teams.
The requirements for this job are:
- MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT and able to do lifting
- Good attention to detail, cleaning to a high standard. We aim to leave the area cleaner than before the event happened.
- Friendly with good communication skills
- Not scared of rubbish and willing to work evenings and on weekends
- Able to work by yourself and use your own initiative
- Be good under pressure and at events with big numbers of people.
- Be able to get yourself to and from events anywhere in Auckland
We will provide a friendly, relaxed and flexible working environment with good rates of pay.
Hours:
Weekly casual shifts available. You will be give a weeks notice for upcoming event cleaning work (usually on weekends) and also can take shifts for when people are sick or on leave etc.. Can decline or accept shifts depending on your availability.
