We have a role for a Data whiz to provide high-level analysis of data and reporting services to our sciences and environmental monitoring teams. You will help develop processing and analysis methods for managing and reporting on environmental data to applicable National Environmental Monitoring Standards (NEMS).Do you have what it takes?We are looking for someone who can bring the following to our diverse talent pool:A tertiary qualification in data science, data management or similarAt least three years relevant experience in data management and analysis, preferably in the environmental sectorExperience of R, Python or similar scripting languages is essentialA sound understanding of the principles of good data management, system development and quality management associated with environmental reporting.Proven working experience and ability for innovation in information dissemination and visualisation.Familiarity using time-series databases, e.g. HilltopUnderstanding of quality systems for ensuring data integrityDisplays cultural empathy and awareness.We don't just want someone that CAN do the job, we want someone who has the DRIVE to do a GREAT job and has a passion for what our organisation and values stand for.
