The Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is responsible for providing key data assets, reports, and insights to a variety of users and external agencies.
As the Enterprise Data Warehouse Developer, reporting to the Technical Lead Development, you will be instrumental in developing and supporting the EDW. Your role includes building and supporting ETL processes, supporting business continuity through timely defect resolution, and monitoring SQL and PL/SQL performance. You will participate in design reviews, work closely with EDW Analysts to refine business requirements, and develop solutions per specifications and standards. You will be able to work autonomously, be proactive in identifying potential improvements, possess great communication skills, and have a drive to construct robust, high performing, and easily maintained solutions.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Experience delivering operational support and development in a business-critical highly complex technical environment.
Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer working in relational and dimensional databases, and data warehousing.
Awareness of performance factors in an Oracle data warehouse environment and well-practiced in tuning of SQL and PL/SQL.
A few other skills that would be an advantage are:
Application design and development with Oracle APEX.
Familiarity with Python and knowledge of modern data platforms and integration tools including Azure.
A degree in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent experience is required for this role.
The mid-point of the salary range is $121,124 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $102,956 - $145,349 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
