We're looking for a dynamic individual to develop and deliver innovative transition and engagement initiatives that empower our students to thrive! In this pivotal role, you'll design and implement impactful retention programs and engagement strategies that align with our Student Success and strategies that align with the Kia Angitu principles. You'll collaborate with staff and students to ensure engagement goals are clear, measurable, and tailored to boost personal, social, and academic growth. Mou | Who You Are
The preferred candidate will have at least a minimum of 3 years' event management and project-based experience as well as have:
Proven ability to support and engage students effectively
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and create an inclusive environment
Previous experience in a pastoral or student service role
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and well in a team environment
An alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
Mahi Ngatahi | Who You Will Work With
You will work closely with the Team Leader and the wider programme team to ensure the successful and impactful delivery of the enrichment programmes. You will also collaborate with the Finance Shared Services team for financial tasks and coordinate with various stakeholders to support the effective management of events and communications. Your role will require regular interaction with the Student Success Programme Board and participation in the broader UC whanau, contributing to a supportive and inclusive environment.
