Company Overview: Join a leading manufacturer and repairer of springs, threaded rods,and U-Bolts.Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented engineering workshop team member. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and ensuring the efficient production of products according to quality and safety standards.Benefits:Supportive and inclusive team work environment.Competitive pay rates.Ongoing opportunity for the right person.Variety in tasks and ability to learn on the job.Central location, in Waltham, Christchurch.Monday to Friday, day shift.Key Responsibilities:Manufacture of U-Bolts and leaf springs.Use of lathes to machine metals.Readying finished products for shipping.Maintaining a tidy and safe work place at all times.Working with the team of 10-12 people to meet deadlines.About you:Mechanically minded and interested in the industry.Willing and eager to learn on the job.Previous experience in a workshop, mechanical or engineering environment.Looking for a stable, long-term role.A team player with a sense of humour and positive attitude.Turn up, on time, work hard, and come back the next day!If this sounds like you, please do not delay to apply with your CV, cover letter or even just a quick blurb about yourself.
