We are looking for an Engineering Surveyor for our Taupo office to assist with the delivery of projects and development of services to current and potential clients. You will manage survey projects in conjunction with Survey Team Leaders and Executive Directors and provide guidance for junior staff.
You will become a core part of our surveying team, based in Taupo, and work closely with other members of our multi-disciplinary company. At BTW you will enjoy our flat structure and will feel that your contribution makes a tangible difference.
As an Engineering Surveyor at BTW Company you will: Undertake and ensure that field and office-based survey work is performed to professional and relevant standards. Undertake and manage Engineering Surveys, using practical and innovative surveying solutions in a timely fashion, including: Reality Capture / Survey Measurement Set-Out (set-out plans and stake-out reports) Survey Data Management, Mapping and Reporting You will need: 10 + years' experience post qualification related to Land Surveying. Bachelor of Surveying (BSurv) or National Diploma in Surveying, and preferably hold Certification of Professional Engineering Surveying Competence with Survey and Spatial New Zealand (S+SNZ). Strong industry knowledge of Engineering Surveys. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12D, e-surveys and dataset lodgement with LINZ. Experience with contract management and project management.
