Engineering Manager

Alsco Uniforms is an essential and stable global Company, and a leader in textile rental services worldwide.
We have an industrial processing laundry operation in Rotorua servicing customers throughout the region.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager suitably qualified in mechanical or electrical trade to lead our small Engineering maintenance team.

You will be required to be hands-on as well as fulfill management duties. This role has a focus on compliance, hands-on engineering, and contractor management. Successful candidates will have prior experience in compliance-related positions.
To be successful, you will have experience in:
Engineering Management functions
Contractor Management
Compliance
Preventative maintenance programs
Fault finding and resolving issues on production plant equipment
Hands-on experience in the engineering or electrical fields
An understanding of steam operations
A positive and can-do attitude.
Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a full medical check including drug and alcohol testing before confirmation of employment.
