About the role...
Based at our office in Christchurch, we are searching for an Emissions Reporting Analyst to join our ESG team. The primary purpose of this role is to be our in-house emissions reporting technical expert to develop and formalise our data management processes while adhering to applicable reporting standards and laws across our global footprint. Working alongside our finance team you will help execute our Group ESG strategy and support our pathway to emissions reduction and our external reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
Using your financial and auditing skillset, build and review systems, processes and policies to improve the quality, integrity, accuracy and frequency of our emissions-related data collection and analysis across our brands and operational footprint.
Build processes for data integrity, validity and accurate record-keeping of our assumptions, estimates and data inputs used in line with the regulatory requirements.
Develop quarterly reporting for distribution to allow for better business decision-making that aligns with our emission reduction targets.
Work with our supply chain partners to collect, analyse and integrate annual HIGG FEM data into our Group's compliance system and support the transition to decarbonisation in our supply chain.
Lead the Group's annual carbon audit and certification processes.
Be responsible for emission-related data and content inline with regulatory reporting requirements while keeping informed on the new sustainability frameworks and legislation being released or updated and educate the wider team.
Build relationships and cooperation from Brand and Group function team members in relation to emissions data collection and initiatives.
Prioritise industry collaboration in decarbonisation opportunities.
About you...
You have strong financial reporting and audit experience combined with experience in ESG reporting frameworks. Carbon audit and reporting knowledge will be important for our role along with environmental supply chain management background. Your accounting background of being commercially minded with great time management skills for reporting deadlines means you will fit well into our team and stakeholders and hit the ground running.
