We are looking for a part-time Emergency Physician. The ED department provides emergency services for the entire district across Whangarei Hospital as well as our three regional hospitals in Kaitaia, Dargaville and the Bay of Islands.The Department of Emergency Medicine has 43,000 attendances per year of which 25% are paediatric. The department is currently led by 21 SMOs and is accredited with ACEM for 12 months Advanced Training and Paediatric Logbook Training and has a successful training programme for both Part 1 and Part 2 trainees.Te Whatu Ora - Te Tai Tokerau is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holds stewardship for equitable health outcomes for Maori as Tangata Whenua as the highest priority.Working across a diverse population you will have the chance to truly make a difference whilst developing your career.
