Job Description
He aha te turanga - About the role:

We are currently recruiting for an Emergency Medical Assistant to join the team in Dargaville. This is a fixed term position for 12 months, working an average of 42 hours on a DDNN 4 x 4 roster. In this role you will:

Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer

Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care (under supervision)

Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment

Complete other relevant administrative tasks.

Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

a minimum of a St John First Responder qualification or ATP of EMT.

a full NZ driving licence and either have held it for at least one year OR have completed an NZTA approved advanced driving course.
