This team creates the software for the next generation of our premium laundry appliances.ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will need to:Collaboratively define, scope, prioritize, and estimate workDevelop product software as part of an Agile teamDeliver features with quality and supportabilityTriage, reproduce, and debug issues reported by other stakeholders for our areas of responsibilityDrive helpful conversations around technical issues and engineering practices, suggesting improvements and ideas as you see themGive and receive feedback to grow yourself and the teamWrite clear requirements, documentation and test cases.Our Process & TechnologiesAt Fisher & Paykel Appliances:Software is developed using Agile processesFunctionality is implemented primarily using C, Python and FlutterThe development platforms used are Bare Metal and AndroidGitHub and Atlassian tools are used for source control, issue management and planningAzure Dev Ops are used for test case management and continuous integration.Qualifications and experienceFor this role, we'd like to see:A Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Software Engineering or related degree, andA least 3+ years relevant working experience, ideally in consumer electronics/products.
