Electronic Appliance Technician - Av & Whiteware (Accredited Employer)

Our Company Hillcrest Electronic Servicing is an authorised service centre for all major audio-visual and whiteware brands and has been in operation since 1999. We are located in Rotorua and Hamilton, covering the Bay of Plenty and Waikato.

The Role We are recruiting a highly motivated Electronic Appliance Technician with relevant experience in performing professional and quality repairs of all or some of the following products:
AV – audio equipment, TVs, appliancesWhiteware – fridges, washing machines, dryers The successful applicant will: Be responsible for performing repair and warranty work on brands such as Panasonic, LG, Samsung and other productsRespond to on-site or workshop customer machine faults, repairs and servicingDiagnose technical issues including the ability to troubleshoot, recognise and repair faultsBe committed to ensuring safe work practicesTest and tags for all appliances in for repair You will bring to the Role At least 2 years previous experience (preferred)Be hard working, practical and well-presentedSound communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and a motivation to learnProblem solving skills with the ability to work well under pressureA friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to meet our customers' needsMust have a current driver's licenceCurrent Electrical registration would be advantageous You must have the right to legally work in New Zealand.
