Senior Team Lead (Electrician) Job Purpose: Are you a skilled electrician with leadership experience looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a Senior Team Lead (STL) to coordinate and oversee the installation of key products and services. This role is essential within our regional branch and involves predominantly onsite work (70% onsite, 30% office). Onsite duties include pre-site inspections and leading the installation team, while office duties involve organizing job packs, managing stock, and handling other job requirements. Primary Products & Services: SBEV Installations HVAC Installations Service & Maintenance Skills, Experience, and Requirements: Current electrical license 5 years' experience in residential/domestic electrical work Preferred experience in HVAC & SBEV Experience leading installations Full NZ Driver's License Site Safe License Reports to: General Manager Location: Dunedin Status: Permanent, Full-time Key Responsibilities: Install Management: Review job packs with the team to ensure understanding of key aspects. Assist with on-site commissioning and job completion. Perform quality control checks to maintain high standards. Team Support: Ensure all teams use SimPRO for job clock-ins/outs and complete job notes/photos. Conduct weekly toolbox training on health & safety, company updates, and basic training. Training: Coach and provide feedback to team members through on & off-site training. Run monthly apprentice training sessions and assist with apprenticeship paperwork. Conduct monthly training sessions on new products and commissioning. Pre-Inspections & Job Packs: Review job info with the salesperson before site inspections. Complete pre-site inspections to confirm installation feasibility. Confirm variations with the salesperson and customer. Ensure job packs are completed within 48 hours of pre-inspection. Coordinate third-party services with the office team. Customer Service: Assist with customer service resolutions. Perform QA checks on-site and provide training to prevent recurring issues. Utilize suppliers' resources to diagnose and resolve issues on-site. General Duties: Promote health and safety among employees and facilitate regular meetings. Report and record accidents, incidents, near misses, and new hazards. Be punctual and work specified hours. Prioritize workload to ensure urgent and important work is completed to a high standard.
