Electrical Service Technician

Teutonia Catering Equipment is an Import company based in Whangarei, importing commercial catering equipment, mainly from Italy.
The ideal candidate would be an Electrician or Electrical Service Technician who can think outside the square and who enjoys a broad range of duties.
You need to have good communication skills to advise our customers and talk to our Italian partners.
The position involves:
Checking & prepping equipment to be dispatchedOnsite and offsite repairs to our wide range of commercial equipment, including commercial dishwashers, ovens, large commercial mixers and coffee machines.Stock control of spare parts & equipment Key requirements:
Practising licence for either Electrician or Electrical Service TechnicianNZ Residency or NZ Work VisValid NZ driver's licence Self motivated and can work independently Strong problem solverHonest and trustworthyBasic engineering knowledgeBackground in electrical or appliance servicingGood mechanical skillsUnderstanding of computer controlled equipment, connecting systems to water and electrical fault finding.We provide uniform, laptop and a company car and a market remuneration package
