As a Dyson Hair Stylist, you'll be an ambassador for Dyson's revolutionary hair care products, combining personalised hair styling with expert product knowledge to drive sales in a retail environment.
About the Role: As a Dyson Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for showcasing and demonstrating Dyson's advanced hair styling tools to customers, offering tailored solutions based on individual needs and hair types. You will leverage your skills in beauty and sales to inspire customers and help them understand the benefits of Dyson's hair care innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalised, hands-on hair styling demonstrations using Dyson's hair care products, ensuring customers experience the full benefits of Dyson technology.
Engage with customers to understand their hair type, needs, and preferences, offering styling advice and product recommendations.
Achieve individual sales targets by converting styling demonstrations into sales, ensuring customers are well-informed and confident in their purchase decisions.
Maintain a clean and organized demonstration area, ensuring all Dyson products are in perfect working condition and ready for use.
Deliver excellent customer service, resolving queries or issues promptly and professionally.
Stay up to date on Dyson's latest product features, promotions, and technology, communicating this information effectively to customers.
Check in and out of all relevant reporting platforms for every shift, keeping detailed records of customer feedback and product performance.
Requirements:
Passion for beauty and hair care, with experience in hairstyling preferred.
Strong sales skills, with the ability to engage customers and build rapport quickly.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to deliver live product demonstrations.
Immaculate personal presentation, reflecting the high-end nature of Dyson's brand.
Reliability, honesty, and a proactive work ethic.
Ability to work weekends and flexible hours, particularly during peak periods and promotions.
New Zealand residency or a valid NZ work visa. Student visas are not applicable.
Location: Ballantynes Christchurch
Hours Required:
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Additional hours may be available during peak seasons and for other retail clients.
