About the role: We have an awesome opportunity for an experienced Drainage Foreman to join our team based in Christchurch. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of projects across Canterbury, leading safely, on time & within budget, engaging, directing, and developing a team (up to 5).
You will be responsible for: Leading from the front, increasing your team's productivity while ensuring high quality of works. Great people management with an open communication style. Mentor & support the training and development of your team. What you bring to the role: A minimum of 5 years of drainage or water installation experience in public works is essential. A clean license with a minimum of class 2 and WTR endorsements. Class 4 would be an advantage. Can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and an ability to work with others is required. Being a leader in safe working practices is mandatory. An ability to work away from home at times would be beneficial. Experience in other fields of civil construction work; roading, earthworks, or structural work would be an advantage.
