About the opportunity Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Finance plays a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and supporting Enatel business operations. This role is a key business partner to the Enatel General Manager, Senior Leadership team and IDEAL leadership and in doing so is responsible for: Coordinating the Company's strategic and business planning processes Ensuring that trends and deviations from Business Plans are detected and brought to the attention of the GM, IDEAL leadership and the Senior Executive team, as required Providing accurate cost capturing methodologies, systems and reporting mechanisms for the business units. Providing appropriate project management methodology, support, and advice to all business units undertaking significant projects. Developing tools and models to assist the business in making sound business and investment decisions. Capably leading a diverse and experienced team of finance professionals, ensuring their team is engaged, developed and achieving their individual and team goals. Understanding financial and operational performance and provides insightful analysis on monthly reports. Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, analysis and forecasting accuracy. This is a vital role in enabling the General Manager and the Senior Leadership team to focus on strategic outcomes and operational delivery; knowing that the advice, data and reporting provided by all areas of the Finance function are on point, valuable and proactively delivered. About you To be the successful candidate, you will ideally be a Chartered Accountant with strong, commercial senior leadership experience in a finance role and a track record as a proactive advisor to executives and senior leaders. Commercially skilled and experienced, you will ideally have worked within industries relevant to Enatel. Naturally proactive and driven to continuously improve, you will know what it takes to deliver the financial information needed by the business. Your ability to create strong working relationships will be vital to your success.
