Optrek Solutions, a provider of drilling services in Taranaki, is seeking a skilled professional to join our team. As a Horizontal Directional Driller at Optrek Solutions, you will play a crucial role in our projects involving water, gas, power, fibre, and stormwater drilling.Key Responsibilities:Conduct horizontal directional drilling operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Operate and maintain drilling equipment to industry standards.Collaborate with project teams to achieve project goals and timelines.Safely and effectively use excavators or Hydro-Vac units as needed is beneficial.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.Previous history working with 150mm pipe and above.Experience running crews.Requirements:Proven experience as a Horizontal Directional Driller.Proficiency in drilling and locating techniques.Familiarity with excavators or Hydro-Vac units is beneficial.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to safety protocols and practices.Class 2 driver's license minimum.
