Council's Information Management and Business Transformation (IMBT) team is responsible for providing excellent technology solutions and services across Council – including day to day operations, transformation, and leading the transition to a digital-first organisational ethos.
To lead the delivery of technology-based projects, we are on the lookout for a Digital Projects Manager.
Through the lifecycle of projects, the Digital Projects Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of the project activities, predicting and requesting the resources needed, monitoring, and reporting on resource utilisation, managing the funds assigned to the project, assessing, and managing project risks and issues.
Ou wheako –about you, To be successful in this role you will: Have experience managing technology projects using a proven methodology Be proficient in business analysis with expertise in applications, digital solutions, and enterprise business solutions.
Have a good understanding of dashboards and reporting, ideally using Power BI.
Be a relationship builder, able to communicate clearly and progress projects efficiently Have Prince2/PMP certification – this is highly desirable but not essential Previous Council experience is desirable – but not essential An innovative and proactive approach to solving problems Situated in the heart of Ngati Kahungunu, the Hastings district and Hawke's Bay offer an enjoyable environment in which to live, work and play.
