About the role: Join our Nutrition and Dietetic team as an exceptional New Zealand Registered Dietitian based in the Renal team at Whangarei Hospital. In this role you will deliver dietetic care to renal patients across modalities across Te Tai Tokerau. This is a permanent, part time position working 26 hours per week. There may be opportunities for additional hours going forward and we are also open for the person and role being based outside of Whangarei in the mid or far north. We provide patient/whanau centred care which is safe, effective and outcome focused. This role works within a multi-disciplinary framework, where the majority of your working time is patient related. There will also be opportunities for service development work and professional development. Key requirements: Current registration with the Dietitians Board of New Zealand with Prescriber's Endorsement Be an excellent communicator NZ Driver's license Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team Proven time management and delegation skills Renal dietetic experience is desirable but not essential to apply. You will be part of the team at Whangarei Hospital, but also part of the wider Dietetic team of 24 dietitians working across Te Tai Tokerau.
