Our team all work from home and come together on a monthly (or more regular) basis in our Auckland office, located inside the Auckland Table Tennis Stadium in Epsom.
As our Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of key programmes that align with our strategic objectives.
Working closely with the Development Manager, you will be responsible for organising logistics, implementing pathways, and providing administrative support.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of table tennis in New Zealand and contribute to the development of the sport.
Your responsibilities include: Delivering key community programmes at a high standard.
Managing logistics for programmes including disability events, women and girls, and other targeted community groups.
Coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of development initiatives.Developing and implementing official development pathways.Assisting with monitoring and reporting on programme progress to ensure goals and timelines are met.Providing general administrative support to the Development Manager as needed.As the successful candidate, you will have: A relevant degree or diploma (or relevant experience) in sports management, event management, or a related field.At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the sports or not-for-profit sector.Strong organisational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.A proactive approach with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Benefits: Flexible working arrangements, including regular work from home.
