Desktop Support Publication Date 06 / 12 / 2024 Location Dunedin Type Permanent / Full Time Sector IT & Telecomms Help Desk / Support We're looking for a talented Desktop Support Engineer to join our partner on a contract basis.
In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring the success of a key project, including refreshing outdated hardware, and managing IT assets.
You'll support staff onboarding by handling account step-ups, configuring hardware and software, and providing user training.
Additionally, you will contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting processes and collaborating with the wider IT Team to ensure smooth operations.

Key Skills / Experience: Proven experience in IT desktop support or systems administration.
Familiarity with SCCM for deployment and device management.
Strong expertise in IT asset tracking and inventory management.
Experience in laptop refresh projects, including configuration and deployment.
Proficiency in documentation and process improvement.
Solid understanding of the Microsoft tech stack (Windows, O365, etc.
).
