As our Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional user technical support to our staff.This role includes managing call logging and providing first-call resolution, building and configuring laptops, supporting mobile devices and printers, and offering basic software application support. Communication skills, being proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction are key components of the role.Primary responsibilities include:Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person.Escalate complex issues to higher-level support internally or 3rd parties as needed.Assemble, configure, and deploy new laptops according to organizational standards and user requirements.Perform initial software installations, including operating systems and necessary applications.Manage and troubleshoot printer issues, including connectivity problems & quality issues.Coordinate with external vendors for repair or replacement of mobile phones and printers when necessary.Install, configure, and update software applications as required.About youDiploma or degree in IT or a related field.2+ years of experience in a desktop support or similar technical support role.Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common desktop applications; experience with mobile devices and printers.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are preferred.Sound relationship management and collaboration skills.Ability to be proactive and plan effectively and execute efficiently.Fast and responsive with a sense of initiative.What you'll get in returnA collaborative and supportive working environment.The opportunity to grow and develop in a high-performing team.Diverse, interesting, and rewarding work.The ability to have a substantial impact on the reputation and success of The ADR Centre.State-of-the-art offices and facilities overlooking Takapuna beach, in the heart of the North Shore.How to applyTo apply for our role, please submit your tailored cover letter and CV via SEEK.
