This is a permanent walking role.
We are a perfectly sized multicultural city school proudly located centrally in Palmerston North and are ambitious about the added potential of our kura. We value and work in partnership with whanau and prioritize meeting the needs of our staff.
Our priority is to secure someone who is open to the endless possibilities and opportunities that our akonga might benefit from. We need someone who has strong behavior management and classroom practice.
Preferably, we are looking for someone with leadership experience and the willingness to grow as a leader of adults through coaching and professional feedback.
We would like someone who can confidently take on the role of SENCO and pastoral support with current proven success. They will need to be someone that can confidently work with whanau, staff, and students, as well as be willing to oversee our ORS programme and support our arahunga teacher. They will need to be organized, as documentation and tracking are crucial to this role being successful.
We are a kura immersed in Te Ao Maori within Rangitane, with our 2 rumaki spaces. Our leader needs to be on a journey and open to learning to support across our kura.
