Mangere College, a diverse and inclusive secondary school, is seeking an experienced Deputy Principal with strong middle or senior leadership experience, including whole-school, curriculum leadership, and Principal's Nominee expertise.
Key responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership in teaching and learning, with oversight of curriculum development and innovation across various subject areas.
Lead and mentor staff professional development to foster a culture of continual improvement, collaboration, and high-performance teaching.
Offer pastoral care for a designated year level, working closely with a team of dedicated Deans to support student wellbeing and academic success.
Engage in other leadership areas and contribute to school-wide initiatives as negotiated with senior leadership.
Mangere College, with around 800 students, fosters an environment where learners strive for personal excellence. The school focuses on innovative, culturally responsive teaching and preparing students with future-ready skills and knowledge.
