The University of Otago, Faculty of Dentistry is seeking either a long term locum or someone who can commit to a part or a whole year in 2024.
The Faculty of Dentistry | Te Kaupeka Puniho has an international reputation for clinical and research excellence. Founded in 1907, it is New Zealand's National Centre for Dentistry. It forms an integral part of the Division of Health Sciences within the University of Otago, in Dunedin. The Faculty of Dentistry is ranked in the top 50 dental schools in the world (QS World University Subject Rankings).
About the opportunity:
Full time, permanent role or locum role
Locum: 4-10+ months in duration with options for return visits, including an induction and orientation.
Location is the new University of Otago Dental Hospital in the Faculty of Dentistry in Dunedin.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide teaching and training to dental students
Providing dental treatment to patients in clinic
Share professional practice expertise with specialist colleagues
Remuneration: Hourly rate, and possible travel expenses to/from Dunedin
About you:
Must be registered with the DCNZ in your scope of practice and hold a current APC
Any level of clinical experience will be considered, but 4+ years is preferred
Excellent spoken and written English
Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
Enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge with others
Passionate about providing exceptional patient care
Comfortable planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
