The Demand Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal flow of production and finished goods within the organisation. This position is responsible for forecasting demand, analysing end user trends, and collaborating with various teams to align supply with our customer's needs.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using quantitative and qualitative methodsAnalyse historical sales data and market trends to inform forecasting modelsWork closely with internal & external customers and our wider supply chain teams to gather insights and align demand planningCommunicate demand forecasts and updates to all stakeholders regularlyUtilize advanced analytical tools to assess demand patterns and adjust forecasts accordinglyMonitor and report on forecast accuracy and demand planning performance metricsAssist in the development of inventory strategies to meet service level and stock turn goals while minimizing excess stockCollaborate with our Procurement and Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory levels based on demand forecastsIdentify opportunities for process enhancements within the demand planning functionImplement best practices and tools to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiencyPrepare and present demand reports and analysis to senior managementProvide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-makingThe Ideal Candidate3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related areaProficient in demand planning software, Microsoft Excel and BI toolsExperience with Microsoft D365 is a plusStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environmentProactive problem-solver with a strategic mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlinesInnovative approach to continuous improvementHow to Apply?If you have great attention to detail, are results-driven and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
