Mo te tunga About the role As a member of the Quality and Patient Safety Service, the Cultural Quality Advisor will play a pivotal role in achieving equity for Maori and facilitating Hauora aspirations within a Continuous Quality Improvement Approach. Key Responsibilities: Improve the quality, safety, and experience of health and disability services received by Maori individuals and their whanau. Design and deliver a cultural audit process using the new Nga Paerewa health and disability service standards. Establish genuine partnerships with community groups in Te Tai o Poutini to ensure diverse perspectives are incorporated into the quality service/delivery process. Comprehensive understanding of health inequalities and disparities. Strong relationship-building skills. Exceptional skills in engaging and working with others.
