Varied credit role that will keep you involved and busy

Due to an increased workload, this is a newly created position working with a well established financial services company. 100% New Zealand owned and operated, this team has grown over the 20+ years it’s been in existence, and they pride themselves on being a financial services alternative to the big corporate banks.As a Credit Analyst, you will have a good understanding of New Zealand consumer lending laws, and be able to demonstrate strong credit analysis capabilities. Your relationship building and customer service skills will be of a very high standard.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Processing and assessment of new loans, including loan arrears, troublesome loans, and debt recovery
Comfortably assisting with payment plans
Administration of onboarding new lending clients, from issuing new loan offers to maintaining client files and folders
Completing reports and updates to Management regarding any defaulting loans
Comfortable and skilled to identify issues, especially those requiring solutions
Effectively communicate with Credit Team and Management Team about the various types of loan applications
