Court Registry Officer Fixed Term 6 months Tokoroa District Court / Bay of Plenty We are looking for a talented individual to join us in Tokoroa.
This role supports the day-to-day operations of the court by managing cases and working with different customers.
Your main responsibilities will include: Working with a range of stakeholders who interact with the court.
Delivering a service with high accuracy and professionalism.
Exercising Deputy Registrar powers.
Facilitating the running of the court, including introducing Judges (in English and Te Reo Maori), managing jurors, and general administration of the court.
Providing customer service through an onsite Customer Service area or hub for any court-related matters.
Managing cases to ensure files are accurate and up to date, which involves a large component of data entry.
Traveling to Taupo, Rotorua, and Tamarunui as part of the role, with the possibility of traveling further afield.
O pukenga / Skills and Experience To be successful, you will need to be: Committed to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Detail-oriented and observant, ensuring accuracy in court processes and case information.
Self-aware, confident in working across a range of situations.
Able to multi-task, managing conflicting priorities and moving quickly between tasks.
Able to learn and adapt to changing legislation and technology.
Resilient, able to handle sensitive cases and high volumes of work.

Utu a-tau / Salary The appointing salary for this role will be between $58,729 and $80,794 based on skills and experience.
