The Warehouse has become a Kiwi household name, and we proudly recognise the role that we play in communities throughout New Zealand.Job DescriptionHours of work:Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30-3pmFriday 8.30-5.45pmSaturday 9-5pmWarehouse Stationery in Dunedin is seeking a dedicated Copy Centre Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality printing and copying services to our valued customers while ensuring efficient operations of our copy center.Responsibilities:Operate and maintain various printing equipment, including copiers, large format printers, and binding machines.Assist customers with their printing, copying, and binding needs, offering expert advice on paper types, finishing options, and design considerations.Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely completion of projects.Perform basic graphic design tasks and make necessary adjustments to customer files for optimal printing results.Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues, escalating more complex problems to appropriate personnel.Stay up-to-date with the latest printing technologies and techniques to provide innovative solutions to customers.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.Qualifications:Proficiency in operating copy machines, large format printers, and binding equipment.Strong knowledge of various printing and binding techniques.Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with file preparation for printing.Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and patient demeanor.Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.Cash handling experience and familiarity with POS systems.High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a copy center or print shop preferred.Relevant certifications in printing or graphic design are a plus.Knowledge of the printing and stationery industry is beneficial.Additional Information:What can Warehouse Stationery offer you?Team Card: Your team card gives you significant savings at each of our brands, including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming.Here for Good Leave: You will have one day of paid leave every year to volunteer and do good in your community.Birthday Leave: To celebrate and recognize your special day, you will be entitled to a day of paid leave each year to celebrate your birthday.Counseling: Through Benestar, you can access free confidential counseling and advice.Career Progression: an excellent stepping stone into other internal opportunities.Plus loads more!
