Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week) permanent.
About Us: We are a newly established and busy Chinese Restaurant in New Plymouth with two stores located at Bell Block and Blagdon.
Position: We are looking for 2 Cooks to join our team. We expect candidates to be team players and capable of multi-tasking.
Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Asian cuisine.
Tasks Include:
Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the takeaway.
Seasoning food during preparation and cooking when necessary.
Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Storing unused food and materials properly.
Assisting in improving dish quality.
Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen.
Assisting in ordering supplies and stock.
Ensuring kitchen operations comply with hygiene and safety regulations.
